Closure to the chapter: Motherhood and Professional Development |
I've been horrible at keeping up with visiting blogs! I'm always amazed at the fun food things you do. I have no energy left to be that creative with food! Have you given up on National Boards??? It's a lot of work and you are super busy. Let me know if there's anything I can do. :)
ReplyDeleteAt least he eats broccoli...
ReplyDeleteWhat on earth did that animal do? Is it a dog? A cat? Good grief!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so very impressed with all the crafty things you do!! I'm about to send you a FB message and have been meaning to do so for a while!
I can still feel the disappointment wafting through your post about your wanting to further your teaching credentials. It's going to take time, and I know you'll come to terms with it...maybe not as soon as you'd like, but you will.
Sending many hugs your way!
You have such a great sense of humor about mommy tantrums. I'm still beating myself up for the way I lost it this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteLove all the creative food fun. I'm lucky if I keep the tortillas in the microwave long enough for the cheese to actually melt before I slop them on a plate with some sliced avocado and cherry tomatoes. This exhausted mommy is all about fast rather than creative. I wish I had half the patience and creativity you have.
Oh, BTW, just got that book you recommended about reading aloud to your kids, and I love it. It made me feel better about the kind of mommy I am... despite the giant mommy tantrum. :)
Those food plates are lovely! Hope I won't have to one day make a face etc out of food so she'll eat..
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative with the food! I love them! Sorry about the end of the chapter. I know that was a tough decision. And, YIKES about the pet mess! Oh no! Hope it doesn't smell too bad!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo diary. Tells so much more than words sometimes.
ReplyDeleteYou have the most handsome boys! Great pictures... except for the last one. :(
ReplyDeleteAwesome food ideas!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I am not the only one who has Mommy tantrums. Which are totally normal...or so I am told (by a professional no less!)
