Little Village PlayPlace

On Saturday we visited an indoor pretend play center.  What a great idea for a family outing.  We met our friend Eileen and her two children.   We will definitely go back soon.  Henry had fun in each of the "rooms".  He tried almost everything except the craft room before he ran out of steam.  Liam just crawled around and put pretend food in his mouth.  I think he will enjoy the train table and kitchen room next time.

This is definitely one of those businesses that makes me say, "Why didn't I think of this?"  If I was entrepreneur and not afraid of taking financial/career risks, I'd definitely open up a place like this in my neighborhood.  It would be a labor of love; combining children, toys and (of course) profit.  Oh well, at least I can enjoy Little Village as a paying guest.  Actually, grown-ups get in free.  Children must pay $8.25

I was surprised that it wasn't overly crowded.  That may be because we had a reprise from late fall weather and were enjoying a mild November Saturday.  I look forward to going back in the mid-winter months.  Did I mention they serve gourmet coffee?  Safe, appropriate play for my sons, mom friends for me and caffeine...  What more could I ask for?   http://www.littlevillageplayplace.com/

  1. I've heard of this place but we've never been. Looks very nice. I think Jordan would love it. We went to Chuck E. Cheese yesterday and it was wild. There were at least 5 birthday parties and kids everywhere!
