A wonderful day at a spectacular zoo. I was able to spend the day with a very dear friend. When we worked together ten years ago, I aspired to be like her in the classroom. Now I want to be as good of a mom as she is to her three children. I really admire her complete dedication to her family.
Henry enjoyed the snacks and the fun playgrounds at the zoo. As far as the animals go, he loved the seals. He was so excited as they swam up close. Even strangers commented on his enthusiasm! Liam is too little to appreciate all the sights and sounds, so he just sat back and did his best Kevin Spacey impression.
It sounds like you had a terrific day! I must make sure to get my kiddos to the zoo this summer!
